FRACTURE OF FORCE POLICY IN ITALY. TERRANOVA: "It is BLAME THE MAYOR." BUT THE MAJORITY IS NOT AT RISK
Francesco Minnella
A crowd so you could not see the first city council. That morning those who had not purchased the Giornale di Sicilia would never have imagined what would happen. I was among them.
An ordinary meeting of council, as there had been a lot until then. Parent took the floor of Forza Italy, Nino Newfoundland, began to mumble nonsense words, but soon after they left the courtroom in disbelief of the directors of opposition and embarrassment of all those in the majority.
harsh words, but also courageous, given its position, including Newfoundland. The confused speech, and interrupted several times by the President of the Council Corsale, aggression was directed to the Mayor and his Deputy, Clerk. The same, accused of being responsible for a political plot against Newfoundland, they stood in silence to listen.
subject of debate, in short, a letter signed by the group of Forza Italy, with which he denounced the actions distorted the councilor Joseph Clerk to the budget. It seems that the latter won the elections and once grabbed her delegation, she started to work on a personal basis, systematically ignoring the guidance given by their respective group. Registered letter, to which the Mayor, invited to take three steps back, had not taken.
The intervention continues with a warning addressed to the President and alderman Centorbi Corsale, which, according to Newfoundland, would have the good and the bad weather, before placing the contents of that letter, and then refusing to sign it. It was like being at a party convention, rather than a municipal council.
Just to do some 'clarity, at risk was the role of leader of FI from that night would not have been more Newfoundland to hold office, but his party colleague, Edwards. The decision had been acquired by the remaining group members without the knowledge of the individual concerned.
Newfoundland there is. Confirms that it is the only group recognized by the chief provincial bodies of the party. And there is not even the director Di Peri, who was also of FI, which is keen to stress that this choice had been an act lacking in transparency. Controversies that have found a place in the days following, even in a local newspaper, with two letters signed by Newfoundland leader.
Moral of the story: a Villabate is not clear yet who the leader of FI. It seems that there is one too many. There is, however, that the majority is at risk despite the accusations and poisons, the two counselors, Newfoundland and Di Peri, I still support the choices, resulting in some respects ambiguous.
In fact, there is no wonder that the city council in opposition to the junta continues to apply directly without even considering the presence of the other directors of the majority. Some of them have never had a voice.
